End NPC: Professor Spellman Quest text: Professor Spellman: Unfortunately, the majority of Ynga's work disappeared when he did. We have the designs and inventions he made public, but we never found his private laboratory--and people have been searching for nearly a hundred years now. I don't understand. I just met a girl named Mikaella, claiming she was his daughter. Was she lying? Professor Spellman: That poor girl. No, she wasn't lying. She was lied to. Her father was a young scam artist, who took Mikael Ynga's name and claimed to "invent" many of his machines. He was eventually exposed by his peers, and forced to flee in shame. Professor Spellman: The REAL Mikael Ynga died in a tragic explosion decades ago, and the location of his lab and private library died with him. A shame, too; I've been trying to fix one of his old generators for a few days now with no luck. Care to give it a shot? Professor Spellman: Well done! If I didn't know better, I'd say you were already familiar with this style of generator. You haven't discovered Ynga's lost laboratory, have you? I'll make you a damned rich Dwarf, if you have! I think there's been some sort of misunderstanding. All I did was fix a machine! |
