| Full text A few jars of honey later, and my dresses are fitting a bit tighter. I don't care--there are so few things I'm allowed to do; eating honey passes the time. But father despises fat people because he thinks they're lazy and shiftless. I caught hell. Not to mention my handmaid, who was the one sneaking it to me. Now I've been banned from eating sweets. I've read every book in the castle, I hate needlework, I'm not allowed outside to "ruin my complexion"... just how am I supposed to pass the time?! | |||
