We stepped out at the Arden Guard's request, to help protect their village. Lieutenant Alexander: Alexander Lieutenant Alexander: But still, Ardenia must be told that the Ring of Nui is missing. Take this letter west, to Nui's Shield Member Christoff. As the leader of the Arden Guard, he will find an agent to recover the ring. Lieutenant Alexander: Alexander Nui's Shield Member Christoff: The Ring of Nui, stolen... That explains the dramatic increase in the undead that walk these woods. We've even had to ask some of Nui's Chosen to help us defend this side of the gate. Nui's Shield Member Christoff: Alexander writes that I should find a champion to recover the ring, but... I don't think he realizes how dangerous these woods have become while he was in the Hereafter. I don't know if anyone here could even attempt such a mission.
