Merchant Recruiter: There should be some Cooking Tools nearby. But if not, they're also available for public use in any village or city. Merchant Recruiter: Go give it a try! There's nothing like a skillfully-prepared meal to give you strength for a long day of adventuring.Step 1: Press the F key near some Cooking Tools to view the dishes you can make from your current ingredients. Select a dish to view which ingredients it requires.You can also press O at any time to open the portfolio, and view a complete list of possible dishes and what they require.Not all crafting stations can create every item. In the portfolio, you can view every item you can possibly craft.Step 2: Obtain the necessary ingredients through farming, trading, or merchants. Blue Salt is required for every dish, and can be bought from Cooking Merchants and General Merchants.Step 3: Use the Cooking Tools to create a meal out of your available ingredients. Cooking Tools can be found in any city or village.Remember that cooking uses Labor. Your Cooking Proficiency will increase the more you cook. Merchant Recruiter: Of course, you can't just throw vegetables in water and expect a meal. Food needs to be seasoned! Blue Salt can really bring out the flavor. All Cooking Merchants and General Merchants sell it. Merchant Recruiter: Ah, that looks delicious. Here, I whipped up a batch of Savory Soup as well. Take it.
