End NPC: Elle Quest text: Elle: I wish you had brought the Leviathan here... Elle: There's a sad legend told in these parts. I think you should hear it, so you can understand more about our world. Elle: Did you see that continental shelf nearby? Elle: Before I tell you the legend, you need to see the Memory Orb at its base. Elle: That Memory Orb is a memorial for a group of long-dead creatures. Elle: The legend says that some dragons were summoned into our world. They wanted desperately to return to their home, but were trapped in the sea. Elle: Alone and frightened, they struggled to adapt and survive in an environment they weren't meant for. Anger and loneliness consumed their minds, twisting them into monsters. Elle: Time passed, and other dragons found their former brethren. They mercifully killed them and buried them at sea. Their bodies formed that continental shelf. The memory orb was left to honor them, so they would never be forgotten. Elle: We should pray for their souls. They never meant to become monsters. I hope they're all resting peacefully in the arms of Goddess Nui. |
