End NPC: Princess Surya Quest text: Apprentice Rudal: I'd actually heard a rumor that Lord Asaji had the ring, but I discounted it until now. Apprentice Rudal: Will you go to Hasla and ask Lord Asaji if he knows anything about the Kidella Ring? It might be my only hope at lifting the curse on my beloved! Asaji: The Kidella Ring? Ah... unfortunately, it is out of my hands at the moment. Asaji: It's true that I originally purchased the ring at great personal cost. I gave it as a gift to our beloved king... but it would seem the ring still bore a deadly curse. Asaji: The king died soon after. A tragic accident, I assure you. Asaji: Heartbroken, I ordered the ring to be locked up in the royal vaults where it might never harm another person. But the Princess Surya--clearly mad with grief--grew convinced that I somehow PLANNED for the king to die. Asaji: She stole the ring and ran away from the palace. But, idiot girl that she is, she was soon captured by a group of deranged wizards and dragged off to Kroloal Cradle. Asaji: I've sent our most loyal palace guards to rescue her, but their failure to return makes me fear the worst. Please, don't go after her. I simply couldn't bear it if another innocent person died because of me. Thank you for saving my life. I was sure I was going to die here. |
