| To start this quest get the : Call of the Abyssal Library. Quest stages: Complete Tyrenos Portrait by combining all 8 pieces of the torn painting with the Empty Frame received from Slevin. The portrait pieces can be found in the Abyssal Library
End NPC: Slevin Quest text: Slevin: Thank you for releasing the spirits of the Ayanad Mages. They deserve far better than to be trapped here forever. Slevin: But even with their souls in the Hereafter, the library still has enough energy to produce a constant stream of deadly animals. Slevin: I fear the only way to truly disarm the library's defenses is to confront the source of its power: the Heart of Ayanad. The living core of the library itself. Slevin: Only one mage knew the secrets of the Heart of Ayanad. Archmage Denistrious. But he died years before the library was attacked. Slevin: Luckily, I've been researching his notes while you were away. Slevin: I believe Denistrious developed a secret method to defeat the Heart of Ayanad, should it ever be corrupted. Slevin: According to his notes, he hid this secret somewhere in three different paintings. Then he tore the paintings apart and scattered them. Slevin: If you can find those paintings and repair them, you should be able to recover the three different pieces of this so-called "Sealbreaker Scroll." Slevin: Once you have them, combine them to form the completed scroll and then bring it back to me. I'll keep researching Denistrious's notes. Slevin: You puzzled the first painting back together? That is fantastic! Slevin: It's a portrait of Tyrenos, who was the legendary head librarian of the Ayanad Council. |
