| Start NPC: Cook Kurt Quest stages: Talk to Cook Kurt at the Golden Fable Harbor in Sanddeep.
End NPC: Archeologist Karna Quest text: Cook Kurt: In order to summon Cook Kurt in the Hereafter Rebellion, this quest must be completed. I... I'm not dead yet? Cook Kurt: I can't believe what just happened and I need some time to process all this. Cook Kurt: Feeling the suffering I've inflicted on those poor souls in Ezna truly opened my eyes. Cook Kurt: Perhaps once I recover from this, I can finally start to heal. Cook Kurt: Meet me back in Sanddeep after dawn, ok? Cook Kurt: Hey Player, look I'm back to normal. Mikaella Ynga: Hey Kurt, ever since the last trip to the Hereafter Rebellion, you're so quiet. Is everything ok? Marian Noryette: You do seem lost in thoughts. Were you able to finally talk to some of the victims of Ezna? Eltere: Tell us already, you're having us all worried! Belion: That's enough you all. Kurt will tell us what happened when he's ready, stop pressuring him. Cook Kurt: I was dead... Marian Noryette: You what? Marian Noryette: Everyone Crown Prince Isan: What do you mean you were dead? That's a joke, right? Marian Noryette: Look at his face... I don't think he's joking. Marian Noryette: What happened Kurt? And are you alright? You're not.... dead now, are you? Cook Kurt: No, I'm not dead now, but for a short moment, my soul was separated from my body. Cook Kurt: I met some descendants of the victims in Ezna and I offered them my life for forgiveness. Cook Kurt: But once they saw I truly was willing to do anything for salvation, they decided it was enough and left again. Marian Noryette: That sounds exhausting. I can understand why you look so drained now. Cook Kurt: There is something else. When I finally recovered, I found a letter in my pocket. Marian Noryette: A letter? From one of the souls? Cook Kurt: Yes, but not addressed to me. The letter is for a person in Ezna, that I assume is still alive? Marian Noryette: Well, you happen to be in the company of Nuian royalty. I'd be glad to help you track down that person. Marian Noryette: If the recipient of the letter is still alive, or has family that is still around, we will find them. Marian Noryette: I already know where to start our search. There's an archeologist who lived in Ezna for the majority of her life. She might know the person you're looking for. Eltere: Should we go with you? Ezna can be dangerous for Eastern folks. Crown Prince Isan: I agree, you might get attacked. Marian Noryette: Player, you should accompany us to the Eznan Harbor, but the rest can stay here. Marian Noryette: I'll make sure to bring a disguise for you, Kurt. This way noone will notice that you're from the east. Archeologist Karna: Marian, how kind of you to visit me. And who are your companions? Marian Noryette: Just some friends, here to protect me. You know how dangerous it can get. Karna, I was hoping you could help me find a person. Archeologist Karna: I'm probably not the best person to ask this, but if I know them, I'd be happy to help. |
