| Start NPC: Eltere Quest stages: Meet Disguised Eltere at the north gate to the City of Towers, in Mahadevi. End NPC: 0 Quest text: Eltere: I want to talk about that banner we saw in the Hereafter Rebellion. Did you take a good look at it? Marian Noryette: A banner? Of the Arden Guards? Eltere: Quite the opposite actually. A dagger shaped like the face of a hawk, crossing a crescent. Does that ring any bells? Eltere: I actually don't have the patience to let you guess, so let me just tell you who this symbol belongs to: the Shadowhawks! Belion: The Shadowhawks? A group of vigilantes that Gene and Tahyang joined when they first arrived in Delphinad? Eltere: Maybe that's what they were a long time ago, but in recent times, they have been nothing but bad news! Marian Noryette: I heard of their organization before, but I must admit, I have never encountered any of them myself, so I know embarrassingly little about them. Eltere: That's ok because I know all about them. They are a bunch of kidnapping murderers and corrupted mercenary scum! Eltere: I know they have some sort of hideout in the City of Towers, I've seen it before! Crown Prince Isan: My kingdom has had their fair share of "interactions" with them as well, and I can attest to what Eltere claims. Eltere: I knew we would be fighting the Crimson Army in the Hereafter Rebellion, but I never expected to see the Shadowhawks involved too. Marian Noryette: Then we must find out why they are there. You said you know where their hideout is, Eltere? Eltere: Yup, I do and I will infiltrate it! Leave it to me, if there is any information to be learned, I will find it! Mikaella Ynga: That sounds awfully dangerous, Eltere. What if that big hound you talked about is there? Eltere: There's no way that big, drooling flea bag is there. I saw the inside of the building in the City of Towers before and it would never fit! Eltere: Don't worry, I'll be super sneaky and stealthy. They won't even notice I'm there. Cook Kurt: I agree with Mikaella's assessment, Eltere. If they are as dangerous as you claim, you shouldn't go poking around in the belly of the beast. Eltere: You guys don't understand. I think this might be really important, and I'm glad to risk my life, if it means we stop whatever is happening in the Rebellion. Belion: If we can't stop you, then at least bring some backup with you. Any of us would be glad to accompany you on your mission. Eltere: No offense, but none of you are really the stealthy kind... or could easily blend in with the Shadowhawks. Eltere: But I know you guys are just going to keep nagging me, so Player why don't you come with me? I think with the right preparations, you could actually do really well. Eltere: First things first: let's see if we can find out any information from the citizens in the City of Towers. There's a man named Orphe, who owns the city's most popular spa. Eltere: Meet me at the north gate to the City of Towers when you're ready, Player. Crown Prince Isan: Be careful you two and make sure you come back in once piece! Disguised Eltere: There you are Player, just in time. Petol: Oh hello! Are you all friends? What brings you to the City of Towers? |
