Start NPC: Marian Noryette
Quest stages:
Meet Marian Noryette at the Golden Fable Harbor in Sanddeep.
End NPC: Marian Noryette
Quest text:
Marian Noryette: Wait you saw a bunch of eyeballs in the water and destroyed them? That sounds... digusting.
Silent Watcher: Mortal, you have trained your sight and now can see.
Silent Watcher: Those you destroyed were not watchers, but a creation of theirs.
Silent Watcher: Dispatched at will, their gaze alters fate.
Silent Watcher: A single gaze creates an imperfection of insignificance.
Marian Noryette: But a lot of them can change the skein of fate... so we must find and destroy those eyeballs from the other watchers?
Silent Watcher: Though you succeeded and saw them here, the others' creations may yet remain unseen.
Silent Watcher: A relic of the Goddess holding the threads of live and death can help.
Silent Watcher: Imbued with her power, it will reveal those you seek.
Silent Watcher: Her power to see truth may even exceed mine.
Marian Noryette: A relic of the Goddess of live and death? But where do we find it?
Silent Watcher: The thread of the bearer of said relic has already crossed yours.
Marian Noryette: Well that doesn't narrow it down too much. Can you tell us more about the person that has her relic?
Marian Noryette: And what is this relic? So we know what we're looking for.
Silent Watcher: The one you seek awaits you already, now leave me be.
Marian Noryette: I just told everyone what we learned from our conversation with the Silent Watcher. So anyone have any idea what this relic is?
Marian Noryette: ...
Marian Noryette: Everyone
Mikaella Ynga: A relic can be anything really. Perhaps we should focus on the person that has it instead.
Eltere: Well Mr. Eyeball said the person "awaits" you already? Then where are they?
Belion: Perhaps we need to pay Lucius another visit. If it's a relic of the Goddess Nui, surely he might know of it.
Crown Prince Isan: Well once we find this relic, I can offer the funds to purchase it. Everything has a price and can be bought.
Marian Noryette: Some things can't be bought, Isan and if it's really something that belonged to Nui, I assume even if they're willing to part with it, it'll be nearly impossible to pay for.
Merchant Viviano: Not nearly impossible, it is impossible to pay for, because it is not for sale.
Marian Noryette: And how would you know that? Who are you anyway?
Marian Noryette: Eavesdropping is incredibly rude, you know?!
Merchant Viviano: I know because I loved her once and I would never part with her ring. And if I remember correctly, you came to me first.
Marian Noryette: Lucius?!
Marian Noryette: Everyone
Belion: How intriguing Lucius. I don't think I've ever seen you take another man's form before.
Merchant Viviano: It's good to see you again, old friend, but let's get to business.
Merchant Viviano: Lucius Quinto
