| Start NPC: Recruiter Quest stages: Meet Aderic, who is waiting for a rendezvous at the Burned Castle in the Starcross Plains.
End NPC: Arthuric Quest text: Recruiter: We've been looking for someone like you to lend us your strength. Have you ever heard of the Firran's treasure, the "Stone White as Darkness"? Recruiter: They say the stone contains various spells, such as those that distinguish the living from the dead or seal the rifts between this world and the afterlife. Recruiter: Ever since a rift to the afterlife appeared in the Starcross Plains, we've been putting all our efforts into stopping the endless, blood-soaked army pouring out from the rift. Recruiter: With everyone exhausted from the ongoing battles, we desperately needed the Stone White as Darkness to seal the rift, so we tried to contact the Firran's secret society, the Whip of the Gods, who keep it... but... Recruiter: It was after the Whip of the Gods, tricked by the Ost Retainers, lost the Stone White as Darkness. I truly felt hopeless. Recruiter: But, just as they say, 'Even if the Old Continent falls, Nui's touch will bring salvation,' the good news that came with the bad at first has given us hope. Recruiter: One of the Ost Retainers is trying to leave the organization for a new start, and he knows the whereabouts of the Stone White as Darkness. We call him 'Someone.' Recruiter: Someone said that if he betrays the Ost Retainers, his life will be in danger, but if we help him escape safely and start anew, he'll tell us where the Stone White as Darkness is. Recruiter: So we've decided to help him. But there's a big problem. Recently, as our conflict with the Ost Retainers has intensified, our organization has been exposed to them. Recruiter: The Hidden Moon Resistance is now considered to be under the surveillance of the Ost Retainers. That's why we needed someone trustworthy who isn't part of our group. Recruiter: Player, we need your help. We were looking for a capable person who isn't part of the Hidden Moon Resistance. You may be small, but I sense a powerful energy from you. Recruiter: Someone said that if you're willing to accept his request, you should go to a man named Aderic at the Burned Castle in the Starcross Plains and tell him, "A bountiful harvest grows on scorched land." Recruiter: Since you're not under the surveillance of the Ost Retainers, please go to Aderic at the Burned Castle and deliver the message "A bountiful harvest grows on scorched land." I beg you. Arthuric: Why have you come looking for me? |
