| Start NPC: Recruiter Quest stages: Meet Blacksmith Bru, who is waiting for a rendezvous at the Ruins of the Sound of Waves in Ynystere.
End NPC: Bru Quest text: Recruiter: We were searching for someone like you to lend us strength. Have you ever heard of the Ferre treasure, the "Stone So White It's Dark"? Recruiter: They say it's a stone imbued with various spells, such as a spell to distinguish the living from the dead and a spell to seal the rift between this world and the afterlife. Recruiter: The Stone So White It's Dark contains many spells, including one to distinguish the living from the dead, and another to seal the rift from the afterlife that has broken into this world. Recruiter: Ever since a rift to the afterlife appeared in Ynystere, we've been putting all our strength into stopping the endless blood-soaked army pouring out from it. Recruiter: Everyone is exhausted from the ongoing battles, so we desperately needed the Stone So White It's Dark to seal the rift. We tried contacting the Ferre's secret organization, God's Whip, who keep it, but... Recruiter: It was after God's Whip fell into the Ost Guard's scheme and lost the Stone So White It's Dark. It truly felt hopeless. Recruiter: But, just as they say, 'Even if the Old Continent falls, Nui's hand brings salvation,' the good news that came with the bad has given us hope. Recruiter: One of the Ost Guard members is trying to leave the organization for a new start, and he knows the whereabouts of the Stone So White It's Dark. We call him 'Someone.' Recruiter: Someone said that betraying the Ost Guard would put his life in danger, but if we help him escape safely and start anew, he'll tell us where the Stone So White It's Dark is. Recruiter: So we decided to help him. But there's a big problem. Recently, as tensions with the Ost Guard have grown, our organization has been exposed to them. Recruiter: The Hidden Moon Resistance is now under full surveillance by the Ost Guard. That's why we needed someone trustworthy who isn't part of our organization. Recruiter: Player, we need your help. We were looking for someone skilled who isn't part of the Hidden Moon Resistance. You may be small, but I sense a powerful aura from you. Recruiter: Someone said that if you're willing to accept his request, you should go to the Ruins of the Sounding Waves in Ynystere and find a person named Bru, and tell him, "A bountiful harvest comes from scorched land." Recruiter: Since you're not under Ost Guard surveillance, Player, please go to Bru at the Ruins of the Sounding Waves and deliver the message "A bountiful harvest comes from scorched land." Please, I'm counting on you. Bru: Are you here to repair your weapon? |
