My wife and I are returning to Archeage after being away for a year or so and it is like a ghost town. I realize that there is a server consolidation happening this month but I just don't want to waist my time on a game that is going to disappear. This game has so many things that are great about it. I just don't get why the drastic reduction in population. Just trying to get a feel for the community and not looking for flames

Unfortunately with declining popularity of the game, the same happens on this forum as well.
You'll rarely get an answer here from anyone, so it'll better to post your thoughts on the official forums of the game.
