End NPC: Engineer Ellen Quest text: Farmer Baum: Argh! That noise! I can't stand these things anymore! Engineer Ellen invented a new line of scarecrows that can talk, to help scare off the birds. But they're driving me mad! Farmer Baum: Could you take this scarecrow to Engineer Ellen, at her Farmhouse in Western Halcyona? Just get her to tell you how to turn them off. Please! I'll give you anything! Engineer Ellen: Turn them... off? I'm sorry, friend. They aren't built that way. They'll keep talking to everything around them till they break down. Didn't really think that one through, actually. |
