| Start NPC: Artena Quest stages: Talk to Artena at the Crimson Watch Camp in the Mysthrane Gorge. - Unavailable upon changing to Pirate faction. End NPC: 0 Quest text: Artena: You talked to the Brownscale Wyrmkin and they told you about horrible nightmares involving a war against humans? Artena: I can't be certain without asking further details, but I am about 87% positive that they are dreaming of the war between the ancient Nuon race and the dragons. Artena: Have you heard of it before, Player? It's a very famous historical event that took place in the Karkasse Ridgelands, thousands of years ago. Long before most of our modern society even existed. Artena: This violent and horrific war took place in Karkasse and the Wyrmkin, back then still called Fangborne, were in the midst of it all. Poor souls. Artena: They wanted no part in this, but the dragons stole their free will and forced them to fight against the Nuons. Thousands of innocent Fangborne were slaughtered. Artena: After the Nuons finally slayed the largest and most powerful dragon, Misagon, they declared their own victory and celebrated by feasting on the flesh of the felled beast. Artena: Well that last part might be a bit exaggerated, but we do know that shortly after the war, the Nuons all disappeared and the Fangborne entered a long slumber. Artena: The scientific reason for their long slumber has not been determined yet, but I can only imagine how much strength it must have taken for them to face the powerful Nuon warriors. Artena: And about the second part of your question, the connection to the Warborn, let me read through these Research Papers first, please. They are in fact related to that topic. Artena: I need just a few more moments, please. In the meanwhile, please take these notes of mine. They contain some of my suspicions on the topic. Artena: And if you're not interested in reading them, then they at least serve as proof to your employer Estio, that you in fact came to see me, right? |
