Corliss: You met my parents? H-Hello, I am Corliss. Mitzi: Tsk tsk, Corliss. Don't interrupt when the adults are talking. Corliss: Ah, I heard the names of my mom and dad being mentioned. Do you have something to talk to me about? Mitzi: If a stranger asks about a bard, would you even have something to say about it? Corliss: Mitzi, Why would I... I don't like sounds or melodies or anything like that. I'm not even interested in those things. Mitzi: Now let's get this straight. Do you really have no interest in them? Corliss: Mitzi! Mitzi: You always complain saying that you don't want to inherit the sounds and that you don't know anything about melodies. Are you sure it's not because you simply were not chosen? Corliss: Bard, bard! You've seen it yourself Mitzi! You know what happened to grandma! Corliss: And you always told me that a bard must live a lonely life of singing songs for others forever! I don't want that kind of life. I don't care what our people are going through. As long as our family is happy, and that' all that matters! Corliss: You don't know anything, Mitzi! Mitzi: Why you little...! Mitzi: I'm sorry that you had to see such a scene. I already heard about you through the other Firran. Mitzi: It's time to reveal what's been covered for such a long time. There's only one reason why the Firran have gathered here despite the war from the past. Mitzi: It's because this is our land. We were born here, and we shall return here. Mitzi: In times like these when we have to protect the land, the powers of sounds and melodies will be of great help to the Firran. I believe Corliss has what it takes to take on the burden.
