End NPC: Captain Hector Quest text: Nui's Shield Member Christoff: Player, I've written this note to General Hector, the leader of Nui's Chosen. He and his men are on their way back to the Hereafter Gate as we speak. Nui's Shield Member Christoff: Chris Nui's Shield Member Christoff: I want you to head south, and catch up to him before he returns to the Hereafter. He is the best man to tell us which of the retired Nui's Chosen is right for this mission. Nui's Shield Member Christoff: Chris Captain Hector: Sloane was a good man, and a great warrior. We will miss his blade in the Hereafter. But to lose the Ring of Nui, as well... No good can come of this. Captain Hector: Given the choice, I would send a squad of my best to recover the ring. But our numbers are fewer every year. We are ageless in the Hereafter, yes. But not unkillable. And even with a thousand years' experience, we sometimes fall in battle. Captain Hector: Hector Captain Hector: These days, none of us can afford to leave the Hereafter for more than a moment or two. The necromancer, Anthalon, sends more undead against us every day... And without us to guard it, this gate would be their portal into the heart of Nuia. Captain Hector: Hector Captain Hector: Nui's Chosen do not retire lightly, and when they do it is only after countless lifetimes' worth of service. I hope Christoff knows what he is asking.
