| Start NPC: Hoolt Quest stages: Rescue the Captive Colossi and punish the Minotaur Mages.
End NPC: Fenbard Quest text: Hoolt: Heading into the Minotaur village, are you? I'd be careful, friend. My squad and I were sent here from Andelph to deal with these beasties, and they've been giving us more trouble than we anticipated. Hoolt: This big hunk'a rock here has been telling me all about it. Seems the Minotaurs captured a whole group of young Colossi, and they're holding them as captives. As long as they've got those captives, the Colossi are powerless. Patient Colossus: No... not powerless. We have spoken with the Faeries. They have given us a gift. You take it, small one. You helped us before. The Colossi trust you. Hoolt: By the gods, is that a Faerie Needle?! I don't know what you did to earn the Colossi's respect, but it must've been a doozy. Those things aren't easy to come by! Hoolt: Alright, here's the plan: Use that needle on any Minotaur Mages you see, and free the captured Colossi during the chaos. Once you're done, find Captain Fenbard on the other side of the village. He'll want to speak to you. Fenbard: Was that... Did I just see a Minotaur turn into a bloody chicken? Who ARE you? My name is Player. I'm here looking for an ancient Colossus named Mistkeeper. Sorry about the chaos in the village. Things got a little out of hand during the rescue attempt. Eruhn: Nonsense! It was quite the show! I'm afraid this is the end of your journey, though. That Colossus you're looking for is across the river, deep in Astra territory. Civilians aren't allowed past this point. With all due respect, sir... I've fought rogue golems, giant spiders, and angry minotaurs to get this far. I'm not turning back when I'm this close! |
