| Start NPC: Judge Quest stages: Talk to Jailer William Wyrdwind at the Marianople Prison.
End NPC: Jailer William Wyrdwind Quest text: Judge: Gregor was found at the crime scene. Maxim's body was still warm. He apparently lured his landlord into the fields, promising to pay his rent. Judge: Gregor's farm was hit the worst by the drought. He couldn't make his payments. The entire jury agreed that was his motive. Judge: The case never did sit right with me, though. Gregor had a hard time butchering animals... how could he murder a person? If you'd like to keep investigating, I'll hear any new evidence you can gather. Judge: I believe Gregor was taken to the Marianople prison; perhaps Jailer William Wyrdwind would let you in for a visit. Jailer William Wyrdwind: This isn't about the Gregor case, is it? Some peasants in the square were throwing tomatoes at my head over the verdict. As if I had anything to do with it. Jailer William Wyrdwind: Mind you, I support Gregor's innocence. But I'm just the jailer. We have laws. I can't just release him on my opinion. |
