| Start NPC: Archeologist Jeisson Quest stages: Show the Mysterious Gem to an Evenbard. Evenbards only appear at night, in the overlooked areas of major cities. They wear black dresses and deal in ancient books of knowledge. Quest completes automatically Quest text: This is very strange indeed. I can hear someone speaking just by holding the gem in my hands. I'm afraid the purpose of this gem isn't known to me. The voice speaks in a very ancient dialect. I doubt any of my peers would be much use, either. I've never heard of something like this. Hmm... Actually, I have heard of a group that might be able to help you. People who trade in ancient myths, and record the oldest legends. They call themselves the Evenbards. If anyone knows about the gem, it'll be them... But good luck finding one. Nobody knows where they come from, or how they know what they know. They appear in the back alleys and hidden corners of major cities. Always at night. Always dressed all in black. Selling their strange tomes and secret knowledge. I'm sorry friend, that's all I know. But one thing's for sure: If you really want to get to the bottom of this, you'll have to find an Evenbard. You bring me a very intriguing thing... a gem that speaks to you when held. May I see it? |
