| Start NPC: Nogan Quest stages: Collect five Checkpoint Flags while floating down the Loka River in a barrel. Complete the objective within the set time, or you will fail the quest. If you fail, talk to Nogan to reaccept the quest.
End NPC: Ehner Quest text: Nogan: During the war, trade between the Firran and the Harani was almost nonexistant. The Mahras were especially keen on stopping alcohol from entering their lands, calling it a "Harani poison" and punishing anyone who tried to sneak it in. Nogan: But when there's money involved, someone always seems to find a way. And so an enterprising group of smugglers devised an absolutely insane plan. Nogan: Each new moon, they would dump dozens of barrels into the Loka River. Then each smuggler would ride their barrel all the way to Windscour, steering it away from walls and sharp rocks and right under the border guards' noses! Nogan: By the end of the war, the so-called "Barrel Riders" were folk heroes. And now each year we celebrate their adventures by getting drunk as skunks and racing down the Loka River. So come on! Grab a barrel and join in the fun! Ehner: Hey, you made it! Did you have fun? |
