| Start NPC: Belion Quest stages: Talk to Marian Noryette at the Golden Fable Harbor in Sanddeep.
Talk to Aeon in the Reminiscent Marsh of the Hereafter Rebellion.
End NPC: Aeon Quest text: Belion: I wonder what still keeps him from crossing over into the Hereafter. Perhaps an honest conversation with him might shed some light. Marian Noryette: Before you go, you should know that I had my servants dig through our records on any history of Elves, shortly after the fall of Auroria. Marian Noryette: There was not much we found. Of course some of our records might have been destroyed or lost since then, it has been a very long time after all. Marian Noryette: There was however mention of an especially dangerous Elf, who was roaming the lands, slaying many innocent Nuians. Marian Noryette: This means, if the Elf in our records is in fact Aeon, then he didn't only kill innocent Elfs, but also Nuians. Belion: A bloodthirsty monster it seems. Many were in a bad state of mind, after our king was slain by Kyrios, but none were quite as disturbed as Aeon must have been. Marian Noryette: Like I said, we can't be sure that it was in fact Aeon, no names were mentioned. It sure seems irregular though. Belion: Did your records say anything else about this person? Eltere: What a lucky coincidence that there was a mention of Aeon in your records! Marian Noryette: Not really, Eltere. Us Nuians like to document as many important details as possible, so our history can always be remembered. Belion: It is true, Nuians are meticulous when it comes to recording history. Elves have memorists for this same reason. Marian Noryette: Anyway, back to your question, Belion. There was a little more information about this person. It says they acted with conviction and there were a few survivor reports too. Belion: Did you see the survivor reports as well? What did they say? Cook Kurt: Not to jump to conclusions, but what if they were affected by dark powers, similar to what happened to us Warborn? Marian Noryette: Unlikely, remember when Auroria fell, all magic was also removed from our world. And the survivor reports didn't say much, other than the Elf sometimes having an aide of sort during the attack. Belion: Thank you for your help, Marian. Their help might have been this Xeonis person you told us about, Player. Belion: Either way, I wish to return to the Hereafter Rebellion and confront Aeon directly. Aeon: Hello again. You left so suddenly last time. How can I help you? Belion: Aeon, please forgive my ignorance during our most recent meeting. I was not aware who I was speaking to, and am afraid, I have only learned troubling tales about you since. Aeon: Troubling tales? That does sound rather unsettling. Please do tell me what you have learned so I have a chance to clear my name. Belion: It is said that after the death of our king, you and a companion by the name of Xeonis roamed the lands and killed many innocent Elves and Nuians. Aeon: Oh yes, Xeonis was a wonderful help, but I am appalled that your tales refer to our actions as murder of innocent people. |
