| Start NPC: Nui's Shield Member Alana Quest stages: Talk to Hydel at the Summer Leaf River, to find out where Mikaella Ynga is.
End NPC: 0 Quest text: Nui's Shield Member Alana: For this quest to remain active, Mikaella Ynga needs to be summoned at all times. I might have something that can help you find some answers. It's a ring, only the highest members of our organization have the right to use. Mikaella Ynga: A ring? What does it do? Nui's Shield Member Alana: It shows you small pieces of the past. It takes a lifetime to master this ring, so you won't be able to control the visions you see. Nui's Shield Member Alana: But if you use it at the right spot, perhaps you'll get lucky and see your father one last time. Mikaella Ynga: I can't thank you enough Alana! I promise to bring your ring back tomorrow and protect it with my life. Mikaella Ynga: Player, you'll help me guard it, right? With you on my side, nobody stands even a small chance to win, in case of a fight. Mikaella Ynga: And I know just the place to try this ring! Use the Teleport Scroll I gave you, to meet me in Aubre Cradle after dawn. Hydel: Who are you? You're looking for Mikaella? Hydel: She ran towards that Mysterious Machine over there. She still insists it's one of her father's great inventions. Hydel: She's crazy if you ask me, that machine is much older than her father could be, but if you still want to talk to her... Hydel: No clue what her deal is. Perhaps you can talk to her. Mikaella Ynga: Hey Player, you can still see me right? I couldn't wait that long, so I already put the ring on. Mikaella Ynga: I tried it once or twice now, but I always get to see the same little shred of my past. Mikaella Ynga: Me, standing over there with one of my father's great inventions and the other kids making fun of me. Mikaella Ynga: They were saying mean things like "Mister Ynga was crazy!" and "Mister Ynga was a liar, and you're a liar too". Mikaella Ynga: In the end, we were able to prove that my father was not crazy and also not a liar... that he was in fact the genius behind this and many other inventions. Mikaella Ynga: But this is not the vision of the past I was hoping for. Mikaella Ynga: This is the only place I knew for sure, my father visited before, so I was hoping I'd be able to see him. Mikaella Ynga: I guess it was all for nothing. Perhaps it's time I just give up. Mikaella Ynga: Wait... what was that sound? |
