| Start NPC: Nui's Shield Member Alana Quest stages: Talk to Cook Kurt at the Golden Fable Harbor in Sanddeep.
End NPC: 0 Quest text: Nui's Shield Member Alana: You apologized to some of the Wandering Souls, but none of them recognized you? That's exactly what I was trying to tell you. Cook Kurt: I have to at least try. Even if only one in a million Wandering Souls turn out to be a victim of Ezna, it will be worth my effort. Nui's Shield Member Alana: Please don't take this the wrong way, I know you must be suffering a great deal, but this is not the right way to go about this. Nui's Shield Member Alana: During the limited time you spend here in the Hereafter Rebellion, you'd be much more helpful fighting the Crimson Army, than running around, apologizing to any soul you find. Nui's Shield Member Alana: That's why I will make an exception and help you locate who you are looking for. If you promise to continute fighting for the Arden Guards, that is. Nui's Shield Member Alana: I will ask our Guards to keep an eye open for any soul wearing clothes that are typically worn by the people of Ezna and if we find one, I will let you know. Cook Kurt: You would do that? Thank you, Alana, and I promise to keep fighting for the Arden Guards, under Player's command. Nui's Shield Member Alana: It is settled then. I will send word to your location in Sanddeep, as soon as I have news for you. Cook Kurt: There you are Player, are you hungry? Cook Kurt: I have news too. Alana reached out and said they potentially found who I'm looking for, so the next time we go back, we have a destination! Marian Noryette: You have a destination? What are you two up to? Marian Noryette: And how come Alana is helping you find stuff? She didn't offer her help to anyone else. Mikaella Ynga: That does sound odd. Spit it out, what are you up to? Marian Noryette: I saw you running around, talking to some of the Wandering Souls, who then ended up running away. Marian Noryette: What were you telling them? And why were they so confused? Come on Kurt, tell us! Cook Kurt: I was trying to apologize to them... but they were either scared or confused. Marian Noryette: Apologize? Is that about the past of your kin? The people the Warborn killed during the massacre in Ezna? Marian Noryette: You understand that this is long in the past, and you personally are not to blame for what happened? Cook Kurt: Yes and I need to forgive myself or I will never find true salvation, I know, but it doesn't make it better Marian. Marian Noryette: This truly is tearing you apart, isn't it Kurt? I'm so sorry that you've been suffering this much... and for so long. Marian Noryette: Is there anything I can do to help you? Cook Kurt: I appreciate the offer, but this is very personal and I'd rather not involve more people. Marian Noryette: I understand, I'll leave it up to you then Player, but know that we're here for you, if you need us, Kurt. Cook Kurt: Thank you. Maybe once this is all over and I found peace with the past, I'll be ready to talk. Just not right now. Cook Kurt: Player, next time you return to the Hereafter Rebellion, you'll bring me along, won't you? Marian Noryette: You have to! Cook Kurt: Well, you don't have to but I'd sure appreciate it if you could. Our destination is the Hidden Sanctuary. Mikaella Ynga: Poor Kurt... I've never seen him so sad before.
