| Start NPC: Lauryla Quest completes automatically Quest text: Lauryla: I've been investigating the Risopoda and watching them closely, but I was never right next to one when it came alive. Please, you must tell me every detail you can about what happened. Prian: We already investigated one or two other Risopoda, and the main difference between the dormant ones and this one, was that it was first of all not covered in Akasch blood and secondly had an odd arcane mark. Lauryla: You've recognized the odd substance as Akasch blood too? That gives me the confirmation I was hoping for in that matter. As for the arcane mark... Lauryla: The way you described it made me think of the Wizard of the Amaitan Highlands, Raeven. But Raeven can't be behind all this... he was locked in a cave, hundreds of years ago. Lauryla: Legend says he had two daughters who were also gifted in the arcane arts, but both supposedly remain bound to a throne to this day, cursed to never to walk in our world again. Lauryla: So if this wasn't the work of Raeven or his next of kin, then who would possess authority over his mark? Did he have any disciples we never knew about? How do we fight an enemy we don't know? Prian: Raeven you say? Fellow watchman who have been stationed in the Hiram Mountains mentioned his name before. He's suspected to be involved with the troubles they are facing there too. Prian: With the power of the Sealstones fading and the Akasch attempting to return, we can no longer sit still, Lauryla. We must find and prepare more Wardens for the possible fight to come. Lauryla: You are right Prian. I pray to the Mother the events that happened here thousands of years ago won't repeat themselves, but in case they do, we must prepare ourselves. |
