| Start NPC: Farmer Gruban Quest stages: Collect Barley and Tomatoes. You can either plant and harvest them yourself, or acquire them through any other means.Return to Farmer Gruban in Anvilton when finished.
End NPC: Farmer Gruban Quest text: Farmer Gruban: There's no secret to being a good farmer. You just have to tend to your plants, have a little patience, and harvest them when they're at their best. Farmer Gruban: I admit, the bards may not sing songs about us farmers. But without us the cities would starve, the ships would stand empty, and all the fancy cooks and snooty alchemists would be out of a job in a week. Farmer Gruban: If you want to learn for yourself, why don't you try raising a crop of Barley and Tomatoes? They're fairly simple to manage, and you'll get a good feel for what farming's like. Farmer Gruban: Just buy some Barley and Tomato seeds, then plant them in your garden. Harvest them when they're ready, and bring them back to me when you're done. Farmer Gruban: Those are some mighty-fine lookin' crops, friend. I think you might just make a decent farmer after all. |
