| Start NPC: Farmer Makella Quest stages: Feeding Combined Feed to a Lamb will make it grow faster. Feeding Combined Feed to a mature Sheep will make it thrive, allowing you to periodically gather Wool from it and receive more Mutton when it is slaughtered. Slaughter a fully-grown Sheep to collect Mutton.
End NPC: Farmer Makella Quest text: Farmer Makella: Alright, let's move on to the four-legged critters. Farmer Makella: Sheep are docile and easily-raised. They also produce valuable Wool when fed, which can be spun into Fabric and sold to all manner of tailors and weavers and what-have-you. Farmer Makella: Got all that? Good! Go buy some Lambs, fatten 'em up, and slaughter them when they're ready. Any wool you can gather before you kill them is yours to keep. Just bring the Mutton back to me. Farmer Makella: Feed a Lamb some Combined Feed, and it'll grow up much faster. Feed Combined Feed to an adult Sheep and it will thrive, allowing you to gather Wool while it's alive and receive more Mutton when it's slaughtered. Farmer Makella: Mature farm animals need to be fed regularly to stay healthy. You can make the Combined Feed yourself at a Farmer's Workstation, or you can buy it from others. Farmer Makella: You can craft a Farmer's Workstation at the Carpentry Workbench. You'll want to have your own if you're serious about farming or ranching. Farmer Makella: Ah yes, this Mutton will do nicely. Your skill with animals must really be improving, for you to produce all this. |
