| Start NPC: Artist Mendelsson Quest stages: To write Sheet Music, open a piece of Music Paper and either write your own notes or paste a section of text from another source. Use the Play Music button to sample the song, then add a title and press Save Music. Write a piece of Sheet Music. You may either copy a section from the Artist's Old Parchment or write an original piece of your own.
End NPC: Artist Mendelsson Quest text: Artist Mendelsson: Writing music is one of the most difficult things an Artistry novice can learn. So to help you out, I've given you a truly brilliant example: mine! Artist Mendelsson: You can now use the Music Paper you made to write sheet music. Either copy a section of the song I just gave you, or study the instructions on your Music Paper and try writing a piece of your own. Artist Mendelsson: Just be sure to try out whatever you've written before you make it permanent! Wouldn't want to waste good paper on bad songs, you know. Artist Mendelsson: Back so soon! You must be very excited about your music. Have you tried playing the finished piece yet? Artist Mendelsson: Skilled musicians carry many different songs so they're prepared for any occasion. It's also a free way to advertise your wares while you're out and about. Artist Mendelsson: Remember, you won't be able to play your music perfectly at first. But the more skilled you become in Artistry, the better a musician you'll be. So get out there and make some music! |
