End NPC: 0 Quest text: Lemian: If we're going to learn any more about the Council's final conflict with Kyrios, we need to find the letter that Archmage Alexander wrote to lure him in here. Lemian: One of my colleagues mentioned that the creatures in the Library sometimes drop Letter Scraps when killed. Lemian: It's a long shot, but the library's preservative magic might have also kept the original letter from being completely destroyed. Lemian: Player, as you make your way through the Library, keep an eye out for any of Kyprosa's Letter Scraps. If you can manage to piece the whole thing back together, please bring it back to me so we can study it. You found the letter! This is fascinating... The Ayanad Council must have been trying to appeal to the last of Kyrios's humanity. By forging a letter from his beloved Kyprosa, they found the one way to make him abandon his army and rush here all alone. They had to know there was no saving him by then, though. Every day, Kyrios became more and more the God of Destruction. If the Council was drawing him into the library... they must have meant to kill him. |
