End NPC: Apprentice Rudal Quest text: I will give you the Kidella Ring as a reward if you wish, but I must warn you: it bears a terrible curse. Lord Asaji gave me the ring as a gift after the king passed away. He must have known I was suspicious of my grandfather's untimely death, and hoped the ring would kill me as well. So I removed the ring and fled the palace, hoping to find some way to prove Lord Asaji's guilt. That's when he arranged for the Arcane Academy to capture me. I'm sure he would have let me rot here forever if you hadn't come along. But with my freedom, and these few guards still loyal to the true king, you've given me a second chance to expose Asaji's treachery. Please take the ring. It was a powerful artifact once, before the curse that now afflicts it. If you can find a way to restore it, I'm sure it will be able to help your friend.Apprentice Rudal: So this is the Kidella Ring. I can feel the ominous energy within it. Apprentice Rudal: Still, if we can somehow restore it to its former power it might be just the thing I need to cure my love's affliction. Apprentice Rudal: You've done well, my friend.
