Quest text:
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: My kin is one of the most ancient still living. Most humans are not concerned with our history, but when they learn that we lived among Nuons, they gain a little perspective.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: I assume you are already aware of the nature of our current nighmares and hallucinations, which is why you came here in the first place.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: It is true that the nightmares and hallucinations we suffer are fragments of the Dragon War that took place between the Nuons and the dragons as the name suggests.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: People call us Wyrmkin because we are descendants of the mighty dragons themselves, but only a fool would believe that we carry any love for those beasts.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: Nature played a cruel trick on us, when it tied us so closely to them. Even a juvenile dragon possesses the ability to control our minds and command us.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: When the Nuons came to fight Misagon, the dragons enslaved our minds and bodies and made us fight them to the death.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: I personally hold no grudge against the Nuons, this is the way of life and no great empire was ever built without the death of many innocents.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: But the choice the dragons forced on us is something I can never forgive. In this sense, I was relieved when the Nuons won and the dragons disappeared.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: When the war ended, the last of my kin fell into a long slumber and when we awoke from it, our minds were finally free again.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: We rejoiced at the chance of a new, independent life and promised to leave the grievances of the past behind, but then the shadows of the past started to reappear.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: First the Red Dragon returned to Karkasse and not much after, her sibling the Black Dragon joined her. Our hopes and dreams were crushed and the fears from the war returned.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: We swore to help the humans defeat the dragons, in fear of being forced to commit the same atrocities or worse again, should they decide to enslave us anew.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: But that is enough talk about our distressful history. You are interested in the more recent past and this new affliction affecting us, isn't that so?
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: Perhaps you'd like to hear a little more about the origin of the name "Bone Pool" and how its water was tainted.
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: Why don't you go and take a closer look at the large bone protruding from pool outside our hutment. That's a huge bone... and is there water filtering through it?
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: It's a very frightning sight, isn't it?
Brownscale Wyrmkin Sage Mian: Did you notice the water extruding from the bone? I supposed "Bone Pool" is a less creative name than one might think, once you see where it originates from.
