End NPC: Constance Quest text: Theater Actor Jayden: We can't let this mystery die here. My bardic curiosity would drive me mad! Theater Actor Jayden: Would you deliver the Ring Pouch to Constance, by the Southern Gate? When you do, be sure to ask her how she knew the broken ring would put her dead husband to rest. Theater Actor Jayden: I must know! Constance: That nosy bard wants to know about the rings? Why? The last thing I need is our tale being sung in every tavern! But you did help my husband find peace. So perhaps you deserve to know, as long as you promise not to tell anyone. Constance: You see, my husband fell to his death, and his wedding band was shattered by the fall. I thought buying a replacement would be proper, so he could wear it in the grave... but his spirit must have known it wasn't the real ring. Constance: It must have broken his heart, thinking I had buried him without the symbol of our love. Thank you for returning his ring. I hope that now, he can enter the Hereafter with a mind at ease. |
