End NPC: Qarudin Quest text: Librarian Tirina: It's a priceless book called the Song of Saffron. It belongs to the Kalia family. I'm afraid they'll revoke all funding for the library if it isn't recovered. Librarian Tirina: Can you help me? I know the book would be invaluable to you as well. There are so many lessons in history; who knows what new powers you could learn. Librarian Tirina: I'm sure the book ended up on the black market. Artifacts that valuable always do. Librarian Tirina: I can think of three traders who might have seen it. Can you ask them about it? Ivram: Song of Saffron? That sounds familiar. Do you remember it, Jovadim? Jovadim: How could you forget? A customer requested it. Spent a week scouring the city for it; never found the blasted thing. Ivram: I remember now. We were searching the slums and I ended up with lice... Qarudin: There's value in old things; emotion, knowledge, beauty. Would you like to see my wares? Aldive: I'm sorry; I'm afraid I got out of the book business long ago. I deal in devices and mechanical whatnot now. Much better profit. Aldive: There is someone else, though. He still deals in parchment and paper ephemera. He sells near the abandoned homes. Just be careful--he doesn't have the best reputation. Mosam: Yes, yes, that sounds perfect! Such a talented singer! Qarudin will be so pleased! Namak: The past is forever, don't let it pass you by, it doesn't change like the weather! Qarudin's Antiques! Mosam: Good, excellent! A perfect jingle for the new sale.
