End NPC: Wanderer Arde Quest text: Wanderer Arde: That ring! Could it really be true? Has Alexander's prophecy finally come to pass? Wanderer Arde: I'm sorry, I should introduce myself. My name is Arde... and I know this is going to be hard to believe, but I was once the apprentice to the Archmage Alexander himself. Wanderer Arde: During the last days of Auroria, Alexander knew his home was doomed. He had spent weeks peering into the future, piecing together dreams and visions, trying to find a way to avert the crisis. But there was nothing he could do to stop it. Wanderer Arde: But rather than despair, he hatched a plan. He designed a powerful weapon, not for himself, but for those who would one day return to Auroria to reclaim it. He called it the Ring of Dreams. Wanderer Arde: Based on his visions of the future, he ensured that any worthy soul that found a portion of the ring would be guided on the proper path to its repair. Then, when the time was right, it would help them lead the charge back to Auroria. Wanderer Arde: Alexander swore to give his life defending the great library of Delphinad. But for me, he saw another purpose. And so, while the library burned around us, he spent the last of his magic to cast me far into the future. Wanderer Arde: When I awoke, I was in these strange lands. And here I have wandered, for years, waiting for Alexander's ring to guide a worthy adventurer to me. Wanderer Arde: If you want to wield the full power of the ring, you will have to prove yourself by defeating some of the most dangerous creatures to walk to world of Erenor. Wanderer Arde: Some of them are remnants of Kyrios's forces. Others are monstrous beasts that are native to these lands. But only by defeating each and gathering their Soulgems will you be able to complete the Ring of Dreams. Wanderer Arde: Will you do this? Will you fulfill Alexander's prophecy? Will you claim the ring, and lead your people in the war to retake Auroria? Wanderer Arde: Well done! Few could face such creatures and survive. Wanderer Arde: I believe you really might be the one my master foretold. But the truth can only be revealed when you wear the finished ring. Are you ready to continue? |
