End NPC: Archeologist Hermas Quest text: Drillmaster Raysen: That young Rudal fellow is behind this, isn't he? He's been hounding me about Serpentis since the day he got here. Drillmaster Raysen: I don't know how he convinced you to help him, but I promise you Serpentis isn't the answer to his problems. Drillmaster Raysen: If you really want to help, why don't you go speak with Hermas in Nuimari? He's an expert on ancient relics and magical artifacts. If there's anything that'll cure Rudal's beloved, he'd probably know about it. Archeologist Hermas: An object capable of lifting any curse? Archeologist Hermas: Well, that's quite a tricky one. There's all sorts of stories about magical swords and holy grails, but I wouldn't exactly call them reliable. Archeologist Hermas: But I have recently stumbled across a rather fascinating tale that might just fit your description. Archeologist Hermas: In Solzreed they tell the legend of King Peredin, a young man who won his kingdom by completing a deadly magical labyrinth. Archeologist Hermas: They say Peredin only survived because of a magic ring known as the "Kidella Ring." Here, I think I have the manuscript with me somewhere.
