| Start NPC: Prian Quest stages: Scout the entrance of the Arcane Academy in Mysthrane Gorge and record your unusual discoveries.
End NPC: 0 Quest text: Prian: Keeping Mysthrane Gorge and its significance a secret was its current Warden's way of protecting it. But we both know what the Akasch are capable of, seeing what they did to the Ipnysh Sanctuary. Prian: I'm concerned for the safety of the entire world and right here, is where the Akasch could do an enormous amount of harm. Of course the Crimson Watch won't sponsor our investigation without some insight, but I believe this is a fair trade, considering the circumstances. Prian: Your first task is to scout the entrance of Halnaak's Arcane Academy. Look for anything out of the ordinary and let's meet back here when you're done.No clue if this counts as out of the ordinary, but I certainly have never seen this pattern before... Prian: I have never visited Mysthrane myself, so all my knowledge about this place, comes from past exchanges with other Ipnysh Wardens. This pattern however, I would recognize anywhere. It is part of a very powerful protection ritual. Prian: I previously mentioned that this place, other than a location of a famous arcanist's school, was also a battleground. You see, the Ipnya create three large Sealstones that protect the contents of Nuia, Haranya and Auroria from the Akasch. Prian: They banished the Akasch into their plane and sealed them away using their unmatched arcane powers. That was thousands of years ago, but the Sealstones they created still remain in Mysthrane until today. |
