Quest text:
Jemondy: I'm sorry to say this, but Corliss is not just a kid anymore. He has to know the situation!
Carmo: Jemondy, enough. Let's talk outside.
Corliss: W-Wait. I'm not sure what's going on, but you're talking about me. I'd like to listen as well.
Carmo: No, this isn't something you need to know about.
Corliss: Well, I actually know a bit about it already. The Firran need the powers of melodies, don't they? There's something going on at the prairie, right?
Jemondy: That's right. There are many groups that are gathering at the prairie. Some of them have evil intentions.
Jemondy: It’s time to awaken the voices and melodies that lie dormant. If the souls of Firran heroes react then there is hope!
Jemondy: We'll all be able to go back home!
Carmo: But that's not something my son must be responsible for!
Corliss: Uh... How about I give it a try?
Ciana: Corliss! What are you talking about?!
Corliss: Mitzi said that one does not simply have a choice in whether or not one becomes a bard... I'm not sure I can, but I'd like to try.
Ciana: But you always said you never wanted to become a bard!
Corliss: Yes, I may have said that, but I still have vivid memories of grandma. She seemed pretty happy.
Corliss: I still remember her singing. Though it's strange, I can't seem to sing it...
Corliss: The reason I didn't want to become a bard was because I wanted to stay with mom and dad for a long time. But what's the point if the Firran are in danger? We, too, are Firran.
Corliss: I will try. I want to learn the sounds and melodies.
Ciana: Corliss...
Corliss: Don't worry, mom. I won't always be miserable if I'm helping others. I can do it. At least, I'd like to try.
Jemondy: Corliss... I can't express how much I thank you. Even if it's just an attempt, I am grateful.
Carmo: Ah... It hurts to see that everyone may be putting a great burden on you, but you're right. You should try. The most important thing is for you to do what you want to do.
Jemondy: Don’t worry too much, we will support you in any way we can. I will gladly stand aside and let you discuss it. Please, at least try.
Carmo: Corliss, if this is something you want to do, I won't stop you. Whatever you choose to do, we will stay by your side. We'll support you.
Ciana: Corliss... Things are different from back when grandma was around. I didn't have any power back then, but now I can protect you. That's why I am giving you permission. Remember, you can come to me anytime you are troubled.
Corliss: Thank you both.
Ciana: As you may know, you can't simply learn the melodies just because you want to. I don't know too much about it, but Mitzi should know. She was close to your grandma, Tynesia. They were best friends.
Corliss: Alright, I will go to Mitzi.
Ciana: Player, can you help, Corliss? Please, go with him to see Mitzi!
Ciana: Thank you.
Mitzi: Why are you back so soon, Corliss?
