Quest text:
Corliss: Ah...
Corliss: So you didn't get to see or hear anything this time either, Player.
Corliss: It felt as if thousands of years had passed me in a second! What just happened...?
Corliss: Huh?
Warrior's Soul: Who's there?
Corliss: You are...!
Warrior's Soul: As you can see, I am one of those warriors long dead.
Warrior's Soul: But let's not talk about myself. That you and your family, and the Firran are alive proves the meaning of my death. It doesn't matter if no one remembers me anymore.
Warrior's Soul: More importantly, that sound from a moment ago... It was a bard's melody, wasn't it?
Warrior's Soul: That sound did not only wake me up, but also all the Guardians who were asleep in the prairie.
Warrior's Soul: I suppose you woke them up on purpose?
Corliss: It wasn't on purpose but...I think we've heard about the Guardians.
Warrior's Soul: You’ve awoken the Guardians? You don’t know the power that they have! … The Guardians are made of the yearnings of souls like me.
Warrior's Soul: The yearning of the warriors ran through their blood. The more warriors were sacrificed, the stronger their yearning to protect this place became. Such a yearning did not vanish even after their death and remains in each and every corner of the prairie now.
Warrior's Soul: The Guardians were born when that yearning met the power of the sun-father in this land. The will to protect this place is the only thing left to them.
Warrior's Soul: Using the power of the Guardians wisely would be of help to Firran, but you must be careful. Others might also want to use that power if they find about the Guardians.
Warrior's Soul: I'm explaining you all this in return of the sound you played a moment ago. I felt as if my whole being was comforted by it.
Warrior's Soul: I hope you cherish this land we've protected... It was a very nostalgic sound.
Corliss: Oh, hey...!
Corliss: He's gone... I wanted to ask him more questions.
Corliss: To be honest, I've never seriously thought about the power that comes from the sound... We should ask Mitzi about the words we exchanged with this warrior's soul.
Corliss: By the way, I do remember the melody that came from the sack!
